We are looking for a talented designer to help bring a new book series to life: Founders: The Startup Stories, a Canadian startup book featuring real founder journeys, insights, and stories from the ecosystem. This book highlights authentic stories from Canadian founders and the people building companies across different stages. The visual identity should feel epic, credible, and modern, while still carrying personality and emotion.
Ideal Background
Experience in book cover design or editorial illustration
Software technical skills such as Adobe InDesign, illustrator, and photoshop
Strong portfolio showcasing storytelling through visuals
Ability to balance minimal, modern design with narrative depth
Understanding of startup, tech, or business themes is a plus
Deliverables
Primary book cover design (print and digital formats)
Spine and back cover design
Set of illustrations for chapters or key story moments
Source files and final export formats
