Got an innovative idea? Building a startup with impact?

Queen’s Entrepreneurs’ Competition (QEC) is a global competition and is back for 2023. The competition is one of the most prestigious undergraduate competitions in Canada with over $80,000 in prizes each year and I am reaching out to you in hopes that you share the competition information and/or apply to the QEC 2023.

The competition is student-run and judged by company executives, a few notable companies in the past are: Google, CIBC, NEO, and Accenture. The competition is located in the heart of Toronto, Ontario, with attendees visiting from investment firms and large corporations. The competition is international and open to all undergraduate students with an entrepreneurial business. We do not take any equity, we simply want to see the businesses grow.

Every year, we receive applications from Harvard, Cornell, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Indian Institute of Technology and Universities all around Canada. The talent at the competition is incredible and is recognized by VCs and investors in neighboring locations. A notable competitor of ours is Bufferbox being acquired for $17M a couple months after their pitch. We have recognized that many of our applicants are in incubators and they jumped at the opportunity to compete in QEC. The competition covers all industries and is an exceptional opportunity to kickstart and develop an entrepreneurial initiative.

Deadline: October 23, 2023
