Program Overview
This program aims to support the development and deployment of artificial intelligence solutions specifically targeting advancements in energy technology. Successful projects must:​

• Develop and apply AI to accelerate the progress (Technology Readiness Level advancement) of a pre-commercial energy solution.
• Demonstrate cost-effectiveness, time savings, or energy efficiency compared to conventional innovation methods.
• Involve collaborations between AI and energy technology innovators to promote knowledge exchange.​

Eligibility: 
Eligible recipients include Canadian organizations from academia, industry, or the not-for-profit sector. The call is open for applications until December 4, 2025.​

• Lower the cost, time, and energy used in the development of new energy technologies.
• Foster interdisciplinary partnerships between the AI and energy sectors.
