This role of Strategy Intern offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic planning, market analysis, and business development within Wave. As a Strategy Intern, you will collaborate with our team to support the research & development of key initiatives that drive growth and innovation across the organization.

Here’s How You Make an Impact:

    • Assist in conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats in the industry.
    • Support the development of strategic plans and business cases for new ventures, products, or partnerships.
    • Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of current strategies and recommend improvements.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategic discussions to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
    • Help prepare presentations, reports, and other materials to communicate strategic insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategic objectives with operational plans and initiatives.
    • Stay updated on industry developments, competitive dynamics, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Conduct financial modelling and analysis to support strategic projects and investment decisions.

You Thrive Here By Possessing the Following:

    • You are a student heading into your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year and are studying business, mathematics, economics, or another related field, with a curiosity and interest in the Fintech space.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
    • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating. adaptability and flexibility, while also navigating cross-functional relationships throughout the organization.
    • Proficiency in the Google Suite – Docs, Sheets, & Slides.
    • Prior experience or coursework in strategy, consulting, or related fields.
