Vancouver-based social trip planning app, Pilot, released its highly anticipated beta to +8,000 travellers and the public from around the world. Pilot helps users get the most out of their next adventure.

Vancouver, October 12, 2022 – Pilot has launched their public beta! Having already served +1 million travellers through their global discovery newsletter, FlightDeck, Pilot built a community of +8,000 adventurers who have now planned +80,000 activities across 6 continents with Pilot; everything from solo road trips in Switzerland to group spelunking in Costa Rica.

“While tech companies like Meta want to keep the world online, we believe technology should facilitate more offline experiences in the real world. Our users seem to agree. That’s why 60% of users who spend more than 10 minutes in the app say they’d be “very disappointed” if they could no longer use it.” Said Founder and CEO, Connor Wilson.

For travelers looking to have an awesome time and make memories, Pilot is a social trip planner that brings everything you need to discover, plan, book, and relive trips with friends in one place. It’s a collaborative platform that helps you stress less and have more fun while saving time and money.

“We are thrilled to be offering Pilot’s beta to the public. With our rapid growth and current trajectory, we’re optimistic about the future, and look forward to seeing Pilot’s community grow and thrive.” Said Lead Product Manager, Taher Kathawala.
