GRIN is seeking a Sr. Product Market Researcher with proven quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills with experience driving Market Research in a high-growth SaaS environment.

You will apply your qualitative and quantitative research skills to build research programs that will inform decisions around customers, products and markets.

You will help maintain the GRIN culture while impacting the trajectory of an ambitious tech startup. We are a fast-paced, fun organization going through rapid growth and solving technical challenges at an exponential scale.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, execute, and analyze surveys to derive insights into product perception, market size and composition, enterprise customer behavior, needs, and product use cases, target audiences, product market fit, and identify future potential market opportunities.
  • Build a deep understanding of our existing business using internal and external data
  • Execute research to support product strategy and direction
  • Prioritize research needs and approaches across multiple work streams to work on the right project, scale, and scope at the right time and ensure impact by delivering actionable insights
  • Evaluate effectiveness and profitability of programs and promotions and suggest methods to strengthen customer retention.
  • Examine statistical data to forecast future trends, project market potential, and develop marketing strategies.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 6+ years relevant market research experience working with qualitative and quantitative methods, having conducted and supervised many different types of projects from start to finish (from quick-turnaround to comprehensive global initiatives); with a plus if your work includes developer-focused, B2B or enterprise products
  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to get into the weeds to structure and solve tough, ambiguous problems
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision and take initiative to solve problems
  • Equally comfortable doing scrappy, tactical research and longer-term strategic research
  • Experience with conjoint analysis, preferred.

At GRIN, we don’t just accept difference — we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our product and our community. We strive to make our workplace an inclusive and diverse environment, giving people from all walks of life the opportunity to have a voice.
