Lead Node/Angular Engineer

Our booming Fintech Client based in BC is seeking a Lead NodeJS/Angular Engineer. Completely remote role with Flex hours, full time, extended health coverage, home office fund, and more. We can go anywhere from 120k-180k on the role. We are also looking for a Senior Software Engineer with the same profile!

Qualifications

Skills:

• Very good knowledge and strong skills in Node.js at the backend level (Typescript preferred)

• Good knowledge about MySQL and NoSQL systems (preferably MongoDB and DynamoDB)

• Good experience with secure REST APIs implementation

• Good hands-on experience with Angular > 7

• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with a variety of web application designs, including monolithic and microservices,

understanding of service breakdown, and communication principles.

• Experience guiding the continuous improvement of processes and technology.

• Strong sense of ownership. You take responsibility for the success of the engineering teams.

• Track record of delivering successful solutions as a leader.

• Excellent technical documentation skills

• Excellent communication and leadership

Profile:

· You have a bachelor or master’s degree in computer science

.You have 5+ years of experience in enterprise product development using NodeJS, .Net or Java

. You have 2 years + tech lead and/or DEV team management

. In the last few years you have been working on Node.js only

.Working with Enterprise Level products where the product you are working with is able to handle a few thousand requests a day in traffic

· Strong team player with the ability to resolve problems and meet deadlines

· Able to understand and convey complex technical information

· Good analytical, problem-solving, investigative abilities
