The Role

As a Proposal Manager at Motiv, you will play a critical role in securing high-value projects for Motiv Digital and Motiv Growth. From crafting persuasive narratives to developing strategies that win, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping Motiv’s success in digital transformation, digital marketing, website development, and emerging technologies like AI.

What You’ll Do

• Craft Winning Strategies: Develop and implement innovative strategies for winning proposals that align with client needs and industry trends.
• Lead the Proposal Team: Provide mentorship, support, and leadership to ensure the delivery of compelling, high-quality proposals.
• Own the Process: Oversee the entire proposal lifecycle, from qualifying opportunities to submission and post-submission review, ensuring exceptional execution at every stage.
• Hands-On Writing: Actively contribute to crafting clear, persuasive, and technically accurate proposal narratives.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with designers, developers, and technical experts to gather input and create tailored, impactful responses.
• Refine and Improve: Review and enhance team submissions to maintain alignment with Motiv’s messaging, branding, and quality standards.
• Optimize Resources: Build and manage a repository of templates, case studies, and reference materials to streamline future efforts.
• Analyze Trends: Monitor industry developments, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to position Motiv as a leader in digital innovation.
• Foster Growth: Conduct post-submission reviews to evaluate outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and continually refine processes.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a driven, strategic, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic environments and has a proven track record of success in proposal management.

• Experience: 5–7 years in proposal management, including hands-on writing and team leadership roles.
• Industry Expertise: Demonstrated success submitting proposals for digital agency work, website development, marketing projects, or similar.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to craft and execute strategies that win high-value contracts in competitive markets.
• Exceptional Writing: Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to create compelling and technically accurate narratives.
• Collaboration Skills: Experience working cross-functionally with designers, developers, and technical experts.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, website development processes, and accessibility standards.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and/or proposal management software.
• Industry Insights: Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform proposal strategies.
• Adaptability: A proactive mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
