We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to join us to help with scaling and managing the People Operations (HR) function, supporting our incredibly talented teams. You will have flexibility with scheduling your hours each week, with the potential to convert to a full-time role, depending on the evolution of our business needs. 50% of your time will be focused on recruiting, and the other 50% will be spent assisting in other HR functions.

You will be working with the People Operations team to execute on a variety of core HR activities and programs across the organization.

Own the full-cycle recruitment process for all roles at Influitive
Assist with the implementation of new employee orientation and onboarding scheduling, always looking for ways to improve and streamline the processes
Support continued maintenance of BambooHR – our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including maintaining employee files and records
Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including background check processing, employee benefits registration for new employees, creation of People Operations slides for weekly company meetings
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Contribute to content creation and management of our internal employee hub (you’ll get to learn how we use Influitive’s platform internally for our own employees!)
Perform other duties as assigned
What an incredible candidate looks like:
6 Months – 1 Year HR experience would be considered an asset, including standard HR policies, procedures, and practices
You have previous Recruiting experience (experience in tech would be considered an asset)
You have a solid understanding of best practices and current regulations specific to HR, and a curious mind to research and learn more about this ever-evolving space
You’ve got excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
You’ve got excellent communication and people skills and a sharp attention to detail
You are proficient in software like Google Docs and Microsoft Office. Experience using BambooHR would be considered an asset
You’re resourceful, resilient and proactive in your approach – you’re a team player and want to help those around you succeed
You enjoy working in a fun and dynamic team environment
You are a people-person, and enjoy connecting with employees across different teams to collect feedback, and understand how the People Operations team can better support other departments
