Are you looking to gain more experience in the world of IT support? Riipen is looking for a reliable IT Support Intern.
In this role, the IT Support Intern will ensure proper computer operations so that Riipen staff can accomplish daily tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving internal help requests, inventory (hardware and software) tracking, monitoring security compliance programs, and more.
This role can be based anywhere in Canada but EST would be preferred to support our East Coast team members.
This is a 6 month internship through the DS4Y Internship program. To learn more about the DS4Y Internship Program you can find information here. You must meet the eligibility criteria of the program to be considered as a candidate.
Maintain, deploy, and manage Mac office computer systems and infrastructure
Provide day-to-day technical support for all Riipen staff remotely
Monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting
Prioritize incidents and service requests and escalate incidents with accurate documentation to the I.T. manager, as required
Help track all inventory systems and keep them up to date
Help with security compliance program facilitation
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Excellent knowledge of Mac hardware
Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
Technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing.
