As a smart and flexible HR expert with amazing communication skills and social intelligence you will work directly with our CEO, and the senior leadership team to create a smooth daily operation and ongoing support for our fifty or so employees in the Toronto office. Ideally you have 3-5 years of experience managing all or some aspects of HR in organizations with 20-200 staff in size. WE WANT YOU TO:
You will manage Culture,Office, People, Recruitment, Training, Process and Policy; to elevate talent acquisition, job satisfaction, professional development and overall happiness at EventMobi for all EventMobi’ers.
Working with the CEO, management and social committee to create a fun and engaging office atmosphere. Including event planning, company retreats and departmental offsite programs.
Help develop programs and materials to maintain and feed our company culture. Handbooks, educational programs, onboarding, etc.
RECRUITMENT and ONBOARDING
Strategic planning for company growth: Job descriptions, team structures, hiring plans, managing relationships with universities, marketing and PR to promote EventMobi as an awesome workspace in local press, along with attending and managing recruitment events. Everything that needs to be done to manage and simplify talent search and hiring.
Manage the hiring process from job offers to first day orientation.
Create an impactful and memorable onboarding experience for new employees in their first 90 days.
Employee safety, benefits, welfare, wellness and health.
PROCESS and POLICY
Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures from expense to time off policy.
Knowledge of immigration sponsorship process.
Establish and monitor performance / compensation structures across teams as well as overseeing payroll and time off management systems.
Maintain historical human resource records. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and provincial requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; working directly with our employment lawyers if necessary.
Help to support and maintain a healthy and organized daily operation for our office in Toronto.
