ecobee’s world class HR team is looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to help support our ever-growing hive. This role will work with our Product & Development team of over 200 highly skilled and passionate technology focused employees who work on developing the products we launch to homes across North America!
You will have the opportunity to work on employee engagement, performance management, compensation and employee relations. In this role, you will partner with your client groups and get to work closely with our greater HR team! Reporting to our Director HR we are looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves to help make ecobee the best place to work.
Ways you can contribute day one:
You will play a strong role in recognizing and supporting a performance driven culture with a focus on talent management, coaching and mentoring on performance management and succession planning
Understanding business goals, you will recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to support business objectives, productivity and development of HR within our teams
Partner with our Talent Acquisition team to help develop, retain and engage high potential and high performing ecopeeps
With a hands-on approach, you will work with our employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
With over 200 employees to support, you are comfortable with a high-volume workload and are happy to jump in when needed
Who You Are:
5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years as an HRBP
Experience supporting a technology organization, software and hardware would be an asset
You excel in building relationships and people at all levels are comfortable in confiding in you
Conflict resolution is where you excel and you are excited to see growth being made within your teams
You are someone who leaders turn to for help and advice on how to manage their teams
You’re a textbook of information when it comes to knowing HR law and regulations
Experience working in a rapidly scaling company where you’re able to manage several projects
You describe yourself as hyper organized and detail oriented
Experience with HR tools such as BambooHR, Culture Amp etc. would be an asset
