We are looking for a Growth & Business Development Associate to join our team to deliver best-in-class investment sourcing by developing and nurturing relationships with startups. You will work with a tight-knit, supportive team, and have the opportunity to engage with high growth startups in a wide range of industries.
The primary focus of the role is to drive Georgian Partners’ in-house investment pipeline via outbound relationship development (email, phone, social, events) and the management of inbound leads. The role will also involve building relationships with early stage companies through the Georgian Growth Program and working with the wider team to continue to develop our overall approach to sourcing.
What you will be doing:
Plan and execute outbound pipeline development activities, including researching companies, developing outreach scripts/emails, calling founders and CEOs, etc..
Conduct calls with founders and CEOs of pipeline companies to introduce and pitch Georgian Partners, while simultaneously gathering company information to identify the best companies.
Manage all aspects of outbound leads in your pipeline, including entering and tracking all relevant data in Salesforce.
Champion best practice use of Salesforce across the wider team, including providing advice and support to other users.
Plan and execute sourcing trips and events including managing all follow-up and evaluation of companies.
Triage inbound leads from digital channels (e.g. website and social media) as well as from third parties (investment banks and earlier stage investment partners) as required.
Support the Georgian Growth Program, our platform for nurturing early stage companies before they reach our investment mandate.
Work closely with technical staff to identify opportunities to improve Georgian Partnerss sales and marketing technology stack, process and reporting as required.
Prepare and present pipeline reports to the investment team for review.

You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
You have relevant work experience (full time or internships) in the technology industry including sales development or marketing roles
