Position Summary

Reporting to the Content Marketing Manager, the Content Marketing – Copywriter is responsible for crafting clear, concise and compelling content for external marketing activities that inspires readers to take desired actions.

We’re looking for a crafty and adaptable wordsmith who can write a wide variety of short- and long-form content. You’re just as comfortable crafting engaging email headlines that demand to be opened, as you are working with internal product specialists to develop and refine web page copy to support a product launch. You love the challenge of taking complex information and translating it into informative and compelling thought-leadership content that drives awareness and interest in Trulioo. You’ll be working alongside a dynamic team of talented and collaborative marketers who thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy. The team leverages industry knowledge and insights in order to apply the most impactful B2B marketing strategies and tactics that support the company’s mission and business objectives.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Write informative, interesting and useful content for the company blog and other channels including, website, video, landing pages, email campaigns, as well as other sales and marketing collateral
  • Contribute to an editorial calendar by continuously generating new content ideas and finding interesting ways to reach our prospective customers
  • Execute on basic SEO guidelines and best practices
  • Document and update team on ongoing research and topic discovery as a subject matter expert for targeted verticals and segments, while having a holistic understanding of the identity industry and its growth opportunities
  • Keep abreast of Trulioo Style Guide, content library, department initiatives and general content marketing strategies, tools and techniques to help continually deliver high-quality content experiences 
  • Provide communications support and insight to marketing team members and other departments, such as customer success and sales teams
  • Monitor industry and market trends and international compliance updates for editorial content

You have:

  • A strong journalism or advertising background is valuable, but not essential if you have the right experience
  • Exceptional written communication skills; the candidate must share original samples of authored pieces that demonstrate expertise in writing 
  • Solid project ownership, decision-making, relationship management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and efficient
  • 3-5 years of paid writing experience, 2 years minimum of B2B
  • Experience in identity verification, ideally industries related to financial services or payments 
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Journalism, Marketing or related field
