About this Opportunity:

The BioConnect marketing department is looking for a self-motivated design or visual arts student currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution (College or University) with strong visual design experience. As the ideal candidate, you are technically proficient in design, a self-starter, dependable and hard-working. You are resourceful, motivated and a go-getter. You “own” your job and have a high standard of achievement.

**You must be available to work full-time at our office in Liberty Village from January to April, Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 5:30pm.** Only applicants who meet this criteria will be contacted.



As an intern on the marketing team at BioConnect you will be expected to work closely with the Visual + UX Designer, key marketing team members, and sales team to design on-brand and impactful content in a broad range of mediums. This could include, but is not limited to the following:

1-pagers/sales sheets, eBooks, whitepapers, and trend reports
Videos for marketing campaigns, social channels, website content, and sales content
Visual and written content for social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram)
Create and iterate on website content for A/B testing

This internship will provide you with a great opportunity to utilize what you have learned in school to make a lasting impact at an organization. You will be expected to utilize your full range of visual, typography design and user experience skills. Candidates are required to possess as many of the below skills as possible:

Background/experience in visual design and a strong design portfolio
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and InDesign
Basic knowledge of photography and video/audio equipment
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to work under pressure
Great collaborator and team player
Self-motivated and disciplined
User Experience design is considered an asset

Currently enrolled and will be returning to a college or university program in Canada after internship
Open to applicants in a broad range of concentrations beyond marketing/communications/journalism/advertising/design/development
