We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Partnerships Team (based in downtown Toronto but also open to remote candidates) reporting directly to the Director of Partnerships. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a media and affiliate account management background. The ideal candidate has the maturity and skills required to anticipate business needs.

The candidate will be a wiz at staying on top of relevant digital media and affiliate best practices and act as an integral part of our sales team. 


  • Actively identify, drive and own partner pipeline in partnership with the Director of Partnerships and conduct regular opportunity reviews with assigned book of business
  • Dedicated contact for existing and new clients in the assigned book of business
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including but not limited to identifying, qualifying, capturing, and closing sales opportunities. This would also include developing proposals for media and affiliate campaigns
  • Capture and record all activities relating to assigned book of business in our CRM (Salesforce) database to effectively manage sales engagements
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Proactively engage with clients to deliver on client Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Responsible for day-to-day media and affiliate campaigns – forecast, setup, launch, optimize and report on assigned accounts
  • Responsible for delivering affiliate product updates for assigned accounts. For example, mortgage, banking, and investing rate updates, changes to credit card products, etc.
  • Reconciling media and affiliate revenue on a monthly basis and liaising with analytics, sales, and finance
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues with ad placements, campaign delivery, 3rd party discrepancies, site ad tags and creatives
  • Collaborate with external client departments to coordinate all aspects of campaign booking as necessary 
  • Assist with management of processes, systems and projects that support the sale and delivery of digital advertising
  • Support managing our Salesforce functions and processes, ad server, programmatic ad stack and scorecards
  • Ensure we maintain our standard SLAs
  • Effectively partner with internal stakeholders to deliver on partner requirements and product suggestions


  • 2+ years of experience performing similar accountabilities in Media Sales, Account Management, and Ad Operations
  • Self-motivated and results oriented
  • Ability to create persuasive presentations that demonstrate the value of Ratehub to prospective and existing partners
  • Proven skills with respect to deal negotiations and deal structuring 
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills (writing, speaking & listening)
  • Ability to communicate effectively when troubleshooting and identifying possible areas of improvement
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage several tasks
  • Ability to organize and analyze large amounts of data
  • Familiarity with the affiliate market and experience with programmatic advertising is preferred but not required
  • Post-secondary degree: We value intelligence over relevance, but a bachelor’s degree in a relevant program would be looked upon favourably
  • Nice to have – experience with the following: Google Ad Manager (GAM), ad operations, and executing media campaigns
