The Product:Every video editor's most tedious task is dealing with the mountain of raw footage before they are able to start cutting. Editing is creative work, but video editors are stuck going through B-Roll, reviewing bad takes, organizing and labeling footage, and other monotonous work that eats up hours of time. Rough Cut is a video editing assistant software that starts off your editing project for you. Rather than starting with folders full of raw files, Rough Cut will go through all your footage so you can start editing with a rough cut built out on your timeline. All your footage will be organized and labeled for you. And you won't have to spend any time uploading footage, changing your editing software or redesigning your workflow. Currently in beta integrated as a Davinci Resolve Plugin.

During that period, caregiving was not something I felt comfortable sharing in the corporate space.

The platform will allow founders to showcase who they are, what they are building, and what they are currently looking for. This is a freelance contract remote role, ideal for those interested in an early-stage startup.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain the frontend and backend of the platform.
Develop founder profiles, search, discovery, messaging, and connection features.
Design and manage databases, APIs, authentication, and user accounts.
Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed.
Ensure the platform is responsive, secure, fast, and scalable.
Test, troubleshoot, and fix bugs throughout development.

Skills

Strong full-stack development experience.
